Car Boot Sale

Arts Factory organised the 1st Great Rhondda Car Boot Sale last July and what a day it turned out to be.

Nearly 40 sellers took up the limited number of pitches available on the Highfield Estate site and started to arrive from 6:30 in the morning! All sorts of goods were on offer ranging from DVDs, books clothes, children’s clothes and equipment – you name it, it was on someone’s table at a bargain price.

Sellers came from across the County and many said it was one of the best organised and supported events they had been to.

Local people came in their droves to grab their bargain of the day and people were seen getting onto buses clutching prized possessions such as lawn mowers, baby baths and high chairs.

This was the first boot sale organised by Arts Factory and in view of the huge support it received from local sellers and buyers more will follow over the coming months.
