Valleys Kids bring operation Zulu to Trerhondda

Valleys Kids bring operation Zulu to Trerhondda

This you do not want to miss! Operation Zulu is "a rollercoaster that takes you from the film Zulu to the Olympic and Paralympic Games" at Trerhondda on Tuesday, March 30 from 10.30 am. Anyone and everyone is welcome to join in the fun. Enjoy live sessions of African drumming. Get some on-the-spot photography practice. Learn about painting and mask-making. You can also get a taste of the Zulu Community Choir, an ongoing effort to combine the voices of South Wales with singers from South Africa. Never mind if you think you can't sing--your efforts will not go to waste on this novel activity. No experience is necessary; all you need is a desire to have fun and do something really different right here in Ferndale. And it's all free! This event is brought to you by the Valleys Kids charity in co-operation with Arts Factory.

Arts Factory's Youth Programme continues to develop as time unfolds. Current regular activities include: Tuesdays - DJ Skills 5-7pm, Gaming Club 5-7pm; Wednesdays - Dance with Katie (for ages 14+) 4.30 - 6.30pm, Gaming Club 5-7pm, Melodize (singing) 5.30 - 7.30pm; all at Trerhondda. Join us for fun times, great friends and new experiences in the Ferndale community.

If you need more information about Operation Zulu, or any other aspect of Arts Factory's Youth Programme, contact us at the telephone number or website address above. We look forward to hearing from you.
