At Arts Factory we are particularly proud of Factory Books, which is our social enterprise reselling collectable books to customers from all over the world through our online portal.

Recognising the value of books and encouraging people to submit them for re-use, rather than throwing them away, is not only better for the environment but also ties in with our slogan ‘no more throw away people’. The social enterprise recognises the intrinsic value of both a book and a person – providing a platform for both to shine.

We now have around 30,000 books for sale, some new, some old and some are collectables.

To browse the books we have currently available visit our online portal below!

In order to continue to train our volunteers, and teach them meaningful skills and responsibilities, we rely on a constant supply of books being available.

That’s where you come in.

Whether you have new or used books, novels, non-fiction, popular culture or more obscure titles, whether you are an individual or an organisation – please remember we need your unwanted books!

Alternatively, we are happy to sell collectable books on behalf of partner organisations in return for a share of the proceeds of their sale.

Current partners include Rowan Tree Cancer Care, Maerdy archives, St Barnabas Church,  Noahs Ark Childrens Hospital and several library services including RCT, Torfaen, Bridgend, Vale of Glamorgan.

Donated books can be dropped off at our Trerhondda Community Hub or you can contact Angharad Edwards our Health & Wellbeing Co-ordinator on 01443 757954 to arrange collection.
