JOB TITLE – Volunteer E-Commerce Worker

Responsible to: Head of Operations
Number of hours: T B A
Purpose of job: Numeracy and accuracy skills, flexibility and a team player who is capable of displaying a willingness to learn new skills and develop within the role as required.
Full training as required for the role depending on experience.

Duties include:

  • Data Entry
  • Photocoping
  • Some heavy lifting
  • Warehousing
  • Reception Cover

JOB TITLE – Volunteer Handy Man/General Building Maintenance

Responsible to: Head of Operations
Number of hours: T B A
Purpose of job: Must have previous experience in general maintenance, previous Health and Safety
experience would be an advantage, will include some heavy lifting, working from heights.
Full training as required for the role depending on experience.

Duties include:

  • Ensure that all fire exits are kept clear and unlocked appropriately
  • Perform fire drill
  • Changing light bulbs
  • Painting

JOB TITLE – Volunteer General Cleaner

Responsible to: Head of Operations
Number of hours: T B A
Purpose of job: To ensure Arts Factory’s premises at Trerhondda are clean and well presented at all times.

Duties include:

  • Ensure that a high standard of cleanliness is maintained at all times in all main halls, canteens, toilet facilities and offices at Trerhondda
  • Ensure that stocks levels are maintained at all times of cleaning materials, toilet rolls, hand towels etc.
  • Represent Arts Factory to the public in a courteous and professional manner
  • Co-operate with other members of Arts Factory teams as necessary

JOB TITLE – Volunteer Van Driver

Responsible to: Head of Operations
Number of hours: T B A
Purpose of job: Be able to pickup stock from our partners throughout Wales and deliver and pick stock from our warehouse within our busy Factory Books project.
Must be over 30 with a Clean Driving Licence.
Full training as required for the role depending on experience.

Duties include:

  • Driving
  • Some heavy lifting
  • Supervising volunteers
